Tricia Sarmiento is a 29-year-old freelance writer/editor from the Philippines. Though she may live where the gates of hell apparently stand (this would explain the unbearable heat), her introvert self prefers to take vacations in worlds inside books. Try to find her in Narnia or King’s Landing or Middle Earth some time.
When she does have her head back in the ~real world~, she’s a single mom to a beautiful 11-year-old daughter. She has a degree in journalism from the University of the Philippines Diliman, and considers herself lucky to make a living out of the thing she loves doing since she was nine: writing.
This blog was initially created to document her cancer journey (diagnosed in 2013). But, as with all things in life, it is in its unpredictability where we find the stories worthy to be written.
